Hybrid

Hybrid learning happens when teaching is delivered to classes made up of both face-to-face and distance students. This means the integration of offline and online learning, often in real-time teaching events and benefits from the use of your virtual learning environment to ensure that all students have access to the same resources and opportunities to learn. There is no doubt that this is a challenging way in which to deliver any teaching but is one that has a lot of creative solutions that can make sure you and your students succeed.

Work with us to create well-planned integrations that ensure that the experience for all students is equitable, and all benefit from the same opportunities for engagement, activity, enjoyment and success. We will also work with you to plan for how to use asynchronous online learning to draw the two groups of students into social learning and collaboration.

Our Solutions

Learning Design Solutions will ensure an activity-based, student-centred approach to your hybrid learning classroom. Critical to the success of your hybrid classrooms will be staff development training in the effective simultaneous use of online and classroom technologies, as well as learning design so that your teachers can plan and enable effective learning activities that create equitable experiences for your students in the room and at a distance. The success of this model will start with collaborative strategic planning through one-to-one and team-based workshops and planning sessions so that as a school you have an agreed approach that can work across all courses.
